Metal Industria Val Vibrata, known simply as MIVV, was founded in 1970 in the city of Teramo, Abruzzo, Italy. During the first two decades, the company focused on the production of exhausts for cars and OEM vehicles, but starting in 1990 it began producing exhausts for motorbikes.
MIVV exhausts are the result of years of research and development, which have led to the use of innovative materials and the creation of an appealing design that greatly enhances the image of the motorbike. The MIVV research and development department uses state-of-the-art instruments, including a semi-anechoic chamber for measuring noise in a controlled environment and various types of engine test benches, to evaluate the performance of MIVV exhausts, the decibel level emitted and the operating temperatures.
All this to guarantee the most demanding riders sport exhausts of the highest quality, made of titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys. Thanks to the commitment and experience gained working with world-class riders, such as 2007 MotoGP world champion Nicky Hayden and rider Dani Pedrosa, MIVV is also proud of the results achieved in the Moto2 and Moto3 categories.
