The Yamaha YZ 450 F is Yamaha's flagship 4-stroke motocrosser, in the range since 2003: a 449 cc liquid-cooled single, aluminium frame and KYB suspension. The latest series feature a front-intake cylinder head and electronic fuel injection. For this model Moto-Sound offers exhausts from specialist manufacturers.
Sport exhausts for the Yamaha YZ 450 F are available from Akrapovic, GPR, Scalvini Racing and Yoshimura USA.
GPR: GPR is an Italian brand with over 30 years in the sport exhaust sector, built on reliability and one of the widest catalogues in the market.
Scalvini Racing: Scalvini Racing is an Italian brand specialising in competition exhausts for enduro and motocross, with artisanal production valued by professional riders on European circuits.
Yoshimura USA: Yoshimura USA is the American division of the legendary brand founded in 1954 by Pops Yoshimura. Products for the North American market are designed for track use, where Yoshimura has written history in AMA Superbike and the Suzuka 8 Hours.
Akrapovic: official supplier to MotoGP, WorldSBK and MXGP, the Slovenian brand brings to production motorcycles the same technology developed alongside the top teams of the world championship.
Installing a sport exhaust on your Yamaha YZ 450 F transforms the riding experience: the sound becomes more sporting and engaging, performance may improve thanks to reduced back pressure, and the bike gains a unique character. The sport exhaust also weighs less than the original, improving agility and reducing heat to the rider.
